Forex news

The Dollar weakening has halted currently. The live dollar index data show the ICE US Dollar index, a measure of the dollar’s strength against a basket of six rival currencies, lost 0.4% Thursday as the Department of Labor data showed the number of Americans who sought unemployment benefits over the last week was in line with the forecast while their number rose.

The three main stock benchmarks closed solidly higher Thursday in the range of 1.1% to 2.6% as data indicated higher than expected jobless claims for the past week, deemed as a signal the world’s biggest economy could be cooling.
